His I Love Green Guide Letters podcast, described as “pure magic” on, is a unique concept in which the complaint letters to the Australian TV guide are “reviewed”, often by the TV personalities being complained about along with top stand up talent. Named as iTunes “best of 2015”, I Love Green Guide Letters was screened as a series of TV specials on CH 31 and has been invited twice to perform at the prestigious LA Podcast Festival.

The diverse guest list has ranged from Marc Maron, former WWF World Champion Mick Foley and Arthur Comer, a country based retiree with over 500 published newspaper complaint letters under his belt!


Giving a comedic and lighthearted spin on the often dry Star Wars podcast format made his second podcast Steele Wars a near instant hit debuting at #1 on the Australian podcast iTunes chart. It has since toured Australia several times, been performed at the LA Podcast Festival and was invited to record it’s 100th show live at the Disney produced Star Wars Celebration Europe.

For the past 8 years Steele has co-produced the legendary Monday Comedy at Spleen stand up show that has become a proving ground for comedians Australia wide whilst also breaking venue capacity laws weekly.

He has written comedic pieces for The Age, spent a year providing humorous television reviews on Fox FM & 2Day FM, has published in-depth interviews with the likes of Tony Hawk & Rob Dydek for numerous skateboard magazines and was hand picked by Peter Helliar to appear in his ABC’s “It’s A Date” comedy series.

Steele is currently splitting his time in Melbourne and Los Angeles whilst working a new full length one man stand up show “The Enthusiast” touring Australia-wide though March to May 2017 and writing a comedic book on Star Wars fandom.
